offers the following flow meter products for use in the Oil
and Gas Industry: Optical Gas Flare Meters Gas flares around the world are not being measured properly for technical reasons that are easily addressed. Uncover the "Top Five Challenges to Effective Flare Measurement" and learn how optical technology is helping to address the urgent problem of greenhouse gas emissions associated with climate change. Gas & Oil Flow Meter Products - Processors & Displays Photon Control's flow meter products include the NEMA4X Optical Flow Processor; the Explosion Proof Display Totalizer control unit for the Focus® Wafer and Focus® Probe optical gas flow meters (OFM); and the Explosion Proof Optical Flow Processor, which is the control unit for the Focus® Wafer and Focus® Probe optical gas flow meters (OFM). Gas & Oil Flow Meters in Development Gas flow meters in development include the Focus® Wafer meter, the Focus optical flow meter (OFM), and the Flare Probe Meter. Downhole Temperature & Pressure Sensors The Photon Control Downhole Pressure and Temperature Sensor is designed to meet the demanding needs of the SAGD process.... read more White Papers - Optical Gas Flow Meters - A Novel Gas Flow Measurement Technique The Focus® Downhole Optical Flow Meter for Oil & Gas Flow Measurement The Focus optical flow meter (OFM) has been specifically developed for in-situ measurement of multi-zone gas wells. The OFM is used with standard electrical wireline tool strings and can record gas flow while the tool is held in a stationary position. The Focus OFM uses laser beams to measure the gas flow by sensing the velocity of microscopic particulates naturally occurring in the gas. The gas flow measurements are transmitted to, and logged with, surface recording instrumentation. |
