Photon Control is a leading developer of photonic sensors and a world leader in sensing technology. We specialize in custom engineered solutions and value-added system integration along with OEM manufacturing.
The photon concept has led to momentous advances in experimental and theoretical physics, such as lasers, Bose–Einstein condensation, quantum field theory, and the probabilistic interpretation of quantum mechanics. It has been applied to photochemistry, high-resolution microscopy, and measurements of molecular distances. Recently, photons have been studied as elements of quantum computers and for sophisticated applications in optical communication such as quantum cryptography.
Photon Control a leading developer of photonic sensors is much more than a world leader in sensing technology. We specialize in custom engineered solutions and value-added system integration along with OEM manufacturing in such industries as Life Sciences, Natural Resources, and the Semiconductor Industry.

In January of 2010 Photon Control announced its completion of the testing of its Focus Probe gas flow meters in larger pipe sizes at Colorado Engineering Experiment Station Inc. (CEESI).
In response to the growing worldwide concerns on greenhouse gas emission and the just-completed UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Photon completed calibration of its Focus Probe flow meters. With this larger calibrated range, Photon’s meters will be able to cover all common pipes and stacks used for gas flaring, a major and growing market for the Focus Probe meter. Optical gas flow meters are particularly beneficial for measurement of flare gas as they cover a wide range of velocities independent of gas composition and CO2 concentration. |
